Copy selected tracks to iPod and to a designated backup playlist

Copy the selected iTunes library tracks to iPod and then also to a designated backup playlist, to which the current date and time is appended. Then, if you ever need to erase the iPod (or have otherwise lost iPod tracks), you can easily restore it with the tracks from the backup playlist.

(Note: In order to launch this PowerPC-era script on an Intel machine, it must first be opened and then saved using AppleScript Editor, which is located in your /Applications/Utilities/ folder. More information is here.)
