Current Track to Twitter is Obsolete
Been getting a lot of email from users of the Current Track to Twitter script. The bad news is, yes, the script no longer works. The reason is that as of September 1, 2010, the Twitter API no longer accepts Basic Auth authorization, which is what the script uses to access your Twitter account. Twitter now only accepts OAuth authorization, which isn't exactly a good fit with AppleScript (it is ideal for web-based apps, however). Therefore, it is not likely I will be updating the script to use OAuth.
UPDATED: Current Track to Twitter v2.0
Not necessarily to commemorate the opening of Chirp: Current Track to Twitter v2.0 will tweet information about the currently playing track to your Twitter account, either automatically every time a new track starts or manually with a click of its Dock icon. This latest version is pretty much just a maintenance update since it was last updated in 2007. (See the screenshot I've included on the entry page. "Updating live every two minutes" and "What you and your friends are doing" sure bring back memories.)
