A Look At Visitor OS's

A snapshot of who's been visiting the main page of this site over the past month and what operating systems are in use, graphic after the jump.

This is a Google Analytics graph (fwiw) of page views to the front page of dougscripts.com over the past month; about 32k or 11.3% of all page views. I usually only look at Mac systems, since I assume that because the site content is Mac-specific visits by Windows users are—with minor exceptions—more "accidental" than intentional, or are robots, spiders, and what have you. Of course, there are probably many accidental Mac hits, too.

PPC visitors continue to disappear (there are slightly more Vista hits than PPC, and the site has nothing to offer Vista users) and Intel visitors continue to slowly migrate to Snow Leopard.

I'm still posting new and updated scripts as universal binary (for both PPC and Intel), but maybe this won't even be necessary in a year or so.
