UPDATED: Multi-Item Edit v7.0

For macOS 10.15 and later only. This applet will allow you to view and edit most tags (and some additional options) of the selected track(s) in a single floating window using single-edit mode (one selected track) or multi-edit mode, which emulates the pre-iTunes 12 "multiple items" format; that is, a checkbox adjacent to each tag allows you to select which changes are to be applied to the selection's tags.

Can also be used to copy collected tags from one set of tracks to another set of tracks by toggling "Information Tracking".

UPDATED: Make A Text List v6.3

For macOS 10.15 and later only. This script can assemble a list of tag information about the selected tracks (or tracks in the selected playlist) using a configurable pattern substitution string and provides the ability to export this formatted text to the clipboard, a text file or the Print Dialog.

UPDATED: Increment Number Tags v3.4

For macOS 10.15 and later only. This script will incrementally number your choice of the Track Number, Movement Number, Episode Number, Episode ID tags, and track Name prefix of the selected tracks. Additionally, a Track Count, Disc Number/Count and/or Movement Count can be applied to each track, Episode ID can be configured with additional text incorporating the number, and zero-padding up to five digits can be applied. (The selected tracks must be sorted by ascending Play Order for accurate results.)

UPDATED: Find Empty Media Folders v2.3

For macOS 10.15 and later only. This applet will traverse the Media folder looking for and displaying any sub-folders that are either empty or that do not contain Media-apps-playable media, such as text or image files.

Free to use in Demo Mode: While in Demo Mode, several convenient features will be disabled, including

  • Show Finder Information Window
  • Reveal in Finder
  • Send to Trash
  • Select all Empty/non-Empty
  • Scan other user-selected folder

To purchase a registration code, download and launch the app. Click "Register..." in its File menu and follow the prompts to purchase a code for $2.99. When your payment is processed, you will be emailed a registration code that will unlock the Demo Mode restrictions.

UPDATED: Super Remove Dead Tracks v5.6

For macOS 10.15 and later only. Scans the Music or TV app for tracks whose files are inaccessible or no longer available (so-called "dead" tracks). Outputs a tab-delimited text log listing the tracks by Artist, Name, Album and last known file location. The registered version will delete the tracks.

UPDATED: Skip Back or Ahead v3.2

For macOS 10.15 and later only. Floating panel allows you to control rewinding or skipping forward in the currently playing track by a user-entered number of seconds (1-120). Optionally, play/pause the current track. Useful for 'scoping through tracks, making transcriptions, and so on.

UPDATED: Set Video Kind of Selected v6.2

For macOS 10.15 and later only. This script will change the video kind property of the selected tracks in the TV app to your choice of "Home Video", "Movie" or "TV Show". Additionally, "Show Name", "Season Number", and incremental "Episode Number" can also be set or cleared for each selected track.

Protected files, such as those purchased from the iTunes Store, cannot be changed.

This app is free to try full-featured in Demo Mode, with the exception that only up to 20 tracks can be processed per launch. You can purchase a code for $1.99 which will remove this restriction. Launch the app and click "Register..." in the its File menu to make an in-app purchase.

Performs a search-and-replace on the text in your choice of track tags in the Music or TV app (Title, Artist/Director, Album Artist, Album, Composer, Comments, Genre, Grouping, Show, Movement or Work) in the selected tracks or all the tracks in the selected Playlist. Features case sensitivity and whole word match options and "Test run" preview.

This app is free to try in Demo Mode. In Demo Mode only up to 5 tracks can be processed per launch. You can purchase a code for $1.99 which will remove the 5-track Demo Mode restriction. Launch the app and click "Register..." in the its File menu to make an in-app purchase.

UPDATED: Remove n Characters From Front or Back v6.6

For macOS 10.15 or later. This script lets you delete a specified number of characters from either the beginning or the ending of the Title, Album, Album Artist, Artist/Director, Category, Comments, Composer, Episode ID, Grouping, Show (or their "Sort" siblings), Movement or Work tag of each selected track. For example, delete the initial digits and the space from "01 First Track", "02 Second Track", and so on.

This app is free to try full-featured in Demo Mode, with the exception that only up to five tracks can be processed per launch. You can purchase a code for $1.99 which will remove this restriction. Launch the app and click "Register..." in the its File menu to make an in-app purchase.
